About Daniel

Daniel Ballantine is a Vice President and Investment Strategist on the Global Asset Allocation team within Northern Trust Asset Management, which is responsible for oversight of the firm’s asset allocation process. Dan helps oversee the multi-asset class strategies managed by the Global Asset Allocation team in addition to providing support to various investment committees. Dan also provides research and support surrounding Northern Trust’s asset allocation and capital markets forecasting efforts.

Prior to joining the Global Asset Allocation team, Dan was a member of the Rotational Development Program (RDP) at Northern Trust, where he completed rotations with multiple teams in Northern Trust Asset Management including Global Equity Strategy, Short Duration Fixed Income, Investment Strategy, Equity Research, and Private Equity.

Dan received his B.S. in Finance and B.S. in Accountancy from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is a CFA® charterholder and a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Illinois.
