About Mary

Mary Lukic is co-head of tax alpha at Northern Trust Asset Management. In this capacity, she plays a key role in the continued growth of the investment practice by delivering customized solutions for clients across Asset Management, Global Family Offices, and Wealth Management.

Mary oversees several investment businesses within the global investment team, including tax-advantaged equities, municipal bonds, ultra-short fixed income and cross-over strategies. Mary has extensive experience providing custom equity solutions to high-net-worth families, nuclear decommissioning trusts, settlement trusts, insurance companies, and other taxable and tax-exempt investors.

Mary earned her bachelor’s degree in finance from Illinois State University and an MBA with a concentration in finance, accounting, and organizational behavior from the University of Chicago. She holds the Certified Financial Planner designation.
