About Suzanne

Suzanne Casey is head of wealth client group for Northern Trust Asset Management. She is responsible for leading NTAM's distribution strategy across Northern Trust Wealth Management and Intermediary Wealth. She oversees sales, strategic accounts, portfolio solutions, advisor engagement, and business development initiatives, partnering across the firm to strengthen client relationships. As a member of Northern Trust Asset Management's Executive Leadership Team, Suzanne helps shape and execute the firm's strategic vision, growth agenda, and business priorities. She partners closely with senior leaders across investments, product, distribution, marketing, technology, finance, and operations to drive enterprise-wide initiatives, strengthen organizational effectiveness, and deliver long-term value for clients and stakeholders. She also serves as a Board Member of Northern Trust Investments, where she contributes to the governance and strategic oversight of the firm's investment offerings.

Suzanne brings more than 30 years of leadership experience across wealth management, investment management, and asset management distribution. Her career began with formative roles at Goldman Sachs Asset Management, where she was instrumental in the firm's third-party distribution build-out, leading the sales desk and covering major metropolitan markets. She then joined Merrill Lynch, serving as national sales manager and co-head of the Wealth Solutions Specialist organization, experiences that deepened her expertise in advisor engagement, distribution strategy, and scalable sales leadership. Building on that foundation, Suzanne went on to hold senior sales and distribution leadership positions at J.P. Morgan Asset Management and Vanguard. Prior to joining Northern Trust, she served as managing director and head of sales and distribution at Hilton Capital Management.

Suzanne has a bachelor's degree from the University of Vermont. She holds FINRA Series 6, 7, 24, 63 and 66 licenses. She currently is a Board of Governors member for the Money Management Institute, a member of the Sales & Marketing Committee for the Investment Company Institute and a Board Trustee for the Gateway Foundation. She currently volunteers as an instructor for the organization Rock the Street, Wall Street, which aims to empower young girls through education by strengthening their financial literacy and knowledge of the financial services industry.
