About Tim

Tim Blair is Head of Municipal Bond Portfolio Management and Research on the Global Fixed Income team at Northern Trust Asset Management. Tim is responsible for oversight of the portfolio management and research functions across investment grade and high yield strategies. Tim has been a member of the municipal fixed income team as a trader, credit research analyst and portfolio manager. As a senior research analyst, Tim covered a portfolio of credits spanning the risk spectrum of investment grade to high yield. As a senior portfolio manager, Tim managed both tax-exempt mutual funds and separately managed accounts.

Tim has a B.S. in Enterprise Management and is a CFA® charterholder. He has more than 25 years of fixed income investment management experience.
